Voice Lessons

I have taught vocal performance in the Washington, D.C. region for over 15 years, working with clients of all ages. Whether a middle school student hoping to get cast in the school play or a retiree fulfilling their lifelong dream of learning to sing, I am passionate about helping people learn to play their vocal instrument.  Clients have included Broadway performers in addition to renowned scientists and CEOs.

My professional stage career has centered around Washington, D.C.'s vibrant theater scene. Favorite productions include Sweeney Todd at The Signature Theatre and My Fair Lady at Arena Stage, where a memorable night in theater was chronicled by The Washington Post.

Making music is my passion and teaching it is a privilege.  To schedule private voice coaching, please fill out the contact form.

“[Hannah] was navigating the role with a great deal of ease and played it as if she’d rehearsed it — this is major. She is skilled, talented and intelligent. All those qualities shone through.”

Molly Smith, Artistic Director at Arena Stage in The Washington Post

"The amazing Hannah Willman Young worked with my two daughters to help them find and develop their voice - not only as singers - but also as confident and poised young women. With Hannah's expert coaching, my daughters developed their ability to sing with grace and power as well as speak and present before an audience with confidence. Every session with Hannah was fun, creative and empowering."
